Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 10: Paranubhuti Foundation, doing ground-level work for the control and prevention of blindness, (Netra Seva Mission) and important activities to save the eyes of people are being done in the Vasai-Virar division and Palghar district.
In today’s stressful and hectic life, people are neglecting their own health. Along with other health issues, special attention needs to be paid to eye health, which is often not seen. Eye health is an important matter for every person, and eye problems can increase the risk of blindness. As a solution to this, Paranubhuti Foundation, Ideal Cures Private Limited, and Sealmatic India Ltd, under a CSR initiative, are jointly implementing an ambitious and comprehensive eye healthcare mission.
Through this initiative, citizens from poor, backward, tribal, and remote areas, and the poor and needy, are being treated for eye diseases. Similarly, activities at those tribal villages that do not have access to medical services are important for health. Therefore, Paranubhuti Foundation has thought of providing health facilities in such areas. With this idea in mind, Paranubhuti Foundation has organized the Eye Service Campaign. Through this campaign, the underprivileged and needy citizens are being helped to save their eyes by getting free eye check-ups, spectacles, medicines and timely cataract surgery by expert doctors.
Paranubhuti Foundation’s eye surgeon and founding director – Dr. Ganesh Munjwal, General Physician and founding director – Dr. Pravin Talele, Chief Coordinator – Rahul Samindre, Eye examination experts – Sheela Samindre, Pallavi Agre, Paranubhuti Foundation’s Executive Director – Dr. Bhushan Jadhav, Paranubhuti Foundation’s Project Director – Mangesh Rai are also involved in this campaign at ground level. Similarly, many volunteers like Ragini Yadav, Chandan Kamble, Pooja Sonawane, Kiran Mohanty, Krunali Fadvale, Prarthana Pendhari, J B Singh, Dr. Harish Nagaonkar, Jayesh Veer contributed greatly.

What are the exact objectives of this project?
Under this initiative of Paranubhuti Foundation, many eye camps & cataract surgeries have been proposed. Some of the major services are as follows:
- Distribution of free spectacles.
- Free cataract surgeries.
- Distribution of free eye drops and medicines.
- Treatment by expert eye surgeons.
- Awareness and counselling about various eye diseases.
- Post-operative care and follow-up of treatment, etc. are the major services planned.
How this initiative is being implemented?
Paranubhuti Foundation has taken initiative to organize 3 to 4 eye check-up camps every week from March and April 2025, and these camps are being conducted mainly in remote, needy rural and tribal areas of Vasai-Virar and Palghar districts. Thousands of needy beneficiaries will benefit from this initiative of Paranubhuti Foundation. This includes teenagers, youth, women and elderly people. Cataract patients are being selected for cataract surgery and are also being counseled to save thier eyes. Apart from this, Paranubhuti Foundation has also decided to refer patients who require special treatment to higher centers.
This initiative is playing an important role in raising awareness about eye health and preventing blindness. This social initiative of Paranubhuti Foundation and its CSR partners Ideal Cures Pvt Ltd & Sealmatic India Ltd is inspiring to ensure that the underprivileged and needy citizens get quality treatment and eye health services.
