Widely recognized for its work with handloom clusters across India—reviving traditional weaves and translating them into contemporary home textiles and apparel—Aadyam Handwoven has consistently worked towards building a sustainable ecosystem for artisans while preserving India’s rich craft heritage. With #CultureBeyondTextiles, the brand expands this narrative beyond fabric, positioning craft as a cultural language that connects diverse creative disciplines.
A key highlight of the campaign is Humsaaz, Aadyam’s one-of-a-kind original music album, now streaming across Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube music. It seeks to create a sensory experience where the rhythm, melody, and tone of music complement the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of handwoven textiles. Featuring celebrated artists like Swanand Kirkire, Vidya Shah, Sonam Kalra and Ananyaa Gaur; the album exemplifies how different forms of artistry can converge to tell a cohesive story, making the appreciation of textiles a multi-dimensional experience.
With this initiative, Aadyam emerges as one of the few craft-led organizations in India to commission and distribute original cultural content at scale—extending its support for artisans into the wider creative ecosystem. The campaign builds on a growing body of cultural programming, including the Sufi Heritage Festival at Sunder Nursery, which featured the ‘Bebaak’ stage for contemporary artistic voices. The brand also continues to host intimate Baithaks with eminent artists like Shubha Mudgal and Vandana Srinivasan.
