Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 6: After years of relentless struggle, aspiring actor Hariom Aryan is all set to make his Bollywood music debut. The talented artist will be launched this August in an upcoming Bollywood song directed by Harry Thakur, with the music video scheduled to be filmed in Madhya Pradesh. The song is expected to release in September across leading digital platforms, including YouTube, Apple Music, JioSaavn, Hungama, and several other music streaming services.
For Hariom Aryan, this project is much more than just another release—it represents the realization of a dream he has pursued with unwavering determination for years.
Born on 11 October 1996 in Rampura village, Post Gopalpur, Kalyanpur, Samastipur district of Bihar, Hariom belongs to a modest family. His father, Sushil Jha, served at a hospital near Kalyanpur, while his mother, Krishna Devi, is a homemaker. Being the youngest among three brothers, Hariom completed his schooling at Kalyanpur High School before earning a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry Honours).
Although he had an academic background, his heart was always set on acting. He spent nearly five years performing in theatre in Patna, where he developed his craft and gained confidence as a performer. In 2020, he left for Mumbai with the hope of building a career in the entertainment industry.
However, the road to success proved far from easy. Hariom began by working as a junior artist in the film Padmaavat and later appeared in numerous television reality shows, including Dance Plus, India’s Best Dancer (IBD), and several other productions. While these opportunities kept him connected to the industry, they were not enough to provide financial stability.
To support himself, Hariom accepted every opportunity that came his way. During one of the most challenging phases of his life, he spent nearly five to six months working at wedding events, serving water and performing other duties just to meet his daily expenses. Despite facing financial hardship and uncertainty, he never gave up on his dream of becoming an actor.
Perhaps the biggest sacrifice in his journey has been staying away from his loved ones. Hariom has not returned to his hometown for nearly six years, driven by a personal promise that he would only go back after achieving success in Mumbai.
That long-awaited breakthrough came when he met director Harry Thakur, who offered him a leading opportunity by introducing him through his upcoming music album. Hariom believes this project has given him a fresh identity and opened the doors to a promising future in the entertainment industry.
Speaking about the opportunity, Hariom expressed heartfelt gratitude to the director.
“Harry Thakur Sir believed in me when many opportunities seemed out of reach. I am thankful to him for giving me this platform and a chance to prove myself. This is just the beginning, and I will continue working hard to make my family and supporters proud,” he said.
Director Harry Thakur, who is also associated with the YouTube podcast platform The Boys On Work, is confident that the project will introduce a fresh face to audiences and mark the beginning of Hariom Aryan’s journey in mainstream entertainment.
