Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 24: Chee Teng Joo’s passion for storytelling and his commitment to fresh narratives have earned him recognition as a sought-after producer. Now, he’s set to embark on an exciting journey to Hollywood with plans for an Asian-American project.

His much-anticipated Gujarati film Mom Tane Nai Samjay is set to release on January 10, 2025. Directed by Dharmessh Mehta and starring Amar Upadhyay, Rashami Desai, Virti Vaghani, and Namit Shah, the film is already generating buzz for its heartfelt portrayal of family relationships.

Speaking about his creative journey, Chee added, “Everywhere I look, I see stories waiting to be told. I am deeply inspired by the emotions and cultural richness around us. With my Hollywood project, I hope to create something that bridges cultures and touches audiences everywhere.”

Rashami Desai, bringing the character of Mom to life, shared her excitement about the film; “This role was an emotional journey for me. The story is so authentic, it’s impossible not to feel connected to it. Playing Mom allowed me to explore a range of emotions that felt both challenging and fulfilling. Working with the entire team was a rewarding experience, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it themselves.”

Chee is optimistic about the impact of the film and its ability to resonate with audiences from all walks of life. “It’s a celebration of relationships, exploring the delicate dynamics and the unspoken bonds that connect us. Mom Tane Nai Samjay isn’t just a film—it’s a heartfelt portrayal of what makes families unique yet universal,” he said.

Reflecting on his journey as a producer, Chee added, “This story is close to my heart because it mirrors the experiences we all share, no matter where we come from. It’s a warm, true-to-life film that I believe audiences will thoroughly relate to and love.”

And with his signature charm, he concludes: “See you at the movies!”

With his Hollywood debut on the horizon and a much-awaited Gujarati film hitting screens soon, Chee Teng Joo is gearing up for a landmark year.
