Surat (Gujarat) [India], January 21: Nanavati Citroën marked a landmark moment in Surat’s corporate mobility landscape with the grand delivery of 51 Citroën C3 vehicles to the Luthra Group on 22nd December 2025, reinforcing its growing leadership in institutional and fleet solutions.
This milestone delivery, executed at Nanavati Citroën, Surat, is a first-of-its-kind initiative for Nanavati Citroën and represents a strategic shift by the Luthra Group from traditional bus-based employee transport to car-based ride-share mobility. The decision was driven by the need to overcome urban traffic challenges, reduce commute time, and offer employees a more comfortable and efficient daily travel experience.
The Citroën C3 will now be deployed for Luthra Group’s internal employee transportation programme, ensuring greater flexibility, improved productivity, cost efficiency and lower emissions, aligning with modern corporate mobility needs.
The ceremonial handover was conducted by Mr. Indraraj Sarkar, National Sales Manager, Stellantis India, along with Mr. Akhil Pande, Head – Corporate Sales, Stellantis India and Mr. Mihir Nanavati, Director, Nanavati EuroCars Pvt. Ltd. and received by Mr. Girish Luthra, Chairman, Luthra Group, and Mr. Dhruv Luthra, Managing Director, Luthra Group.

Designed to enhance daily employee commuting, the Citroën C3 will allow point-to-point, flexible routing, reducing long detours and rigid schedules typically associated with bus-based transport. The deployment ensures greater comfort, reduced travel time, improved productivity, and higher perceived safety, especially for shift-based operations.

The Citroën C3 CNG brings together the brand’s signature ride comfort with the efficiency of CNG-powered mobility, making it ideally suited for daily corporate commuting. Despite the CNG integration, the C3 retains well-managed interior space with ample rear-seat room, ensuring passenger comfort even during shared rides. With effective air-conditioning, practical lighting and a suspension setup tuned for Indian roads, the C3 delivers consistent comfort, low running costs and dependable performance for high-usage corporate environments.
