Pune (Maharashtra) [India], September 24: Foreign Trade Academy organized a one-day industrial visit to the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Talegaon, Pune. This event gave students practical experience in Export-Import, Shipping and Container Operations, and Customs Clearance. The visit was done in partnership with the Exim Trade Development Council and Foreign Trade Academy, with significant coordination and guidance from:

- Mr. Riyasat – Pune College
- Mr. Sayyed – KSH Group
This industry-focused initiative aimed to close the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. It allowed students to see the daily operations at the ICD. Participants gained a deep understanding of logistics workflows, customs procedures, container handling, and international trade documentation.
Coordinators pointed out that this hands-on training is an important part of the curriculum. It helps students develop job-ready skills and gives them an advantage in the global trade sector.
