New Delhi [India], July 21: Not many entrepreneurs can say they’ve built a successful career twice, in two different countries, in two different languages. Bia Rodrigues-Perry can. The Brazilian-born presenter, producer and marketing strategist now based in Warwickshire has spent the last several years turning a simple idea – cooking as connection – into something that looks a lot like a media company.
Two Careers, One Skillset
Long before BIA’S Kitchen Show existed, Bia was already deep into a marketing career in Brazil, working with well-known international brands and building a reputation around one core strength: knowing how to talk to people, and knowing how to get brands to do the same.
That expertise didn’t automatically transfer when she moved to the UK after meeting her husband. Instead, she found herself at square one – no network, no established name, a different culture to learn from the inside out.
“I had to adapt to a new culture, build a new network and prove myself all over again,” she says of that period.
It’s a familiar story for a lot of people who relocate for love or opportunity. What’s less familiar is what Bia did with it.
How a Kitchen Became a Platform
What began as survival eventually became a purpose.
During the pandemic, Bia launched BIA’S Kitchen, a premium takeaway business that combined her love of food with a desire to bring comfort to people during an uncertain time. It wasn’t intended to become a media brand. It was simply a way to keep moving forward while helping others.
As the world reopened, Bia realised something important. She wasn’t just a chef. She was also a marketer, producer, storyteller and presenter. Instead of leaving those skills behind, she brought them together.
That vision became BIA’S Kitchen Show. The first series, Empowering the Independent Food Industry, celebrated 21 independent restaurants and chefs across the UK, shining a light on businesses rebuilding after one of the toughest periods the hospitality industry had ever faced.
The response went far beyond expectations. The series led to the publication of Bia’s first book and transformed BIA’S Kitchen Show into something much bigger than food.
“Food is still the invitation,” Bia says. “But the real purpose has become the people behind it. Every story has the power to encourage someone else.”
Today, BIA’S Kitchen Show continues to grow with new series exploring wellbeing, menopause, travel, entrepreneurship and community, while remaining true to the mission it was built on: using food to start conversations that matter.
That idea has since scaled into BIA’S Kitchen Show, a media platform that uses food as an entry point into much bigger conversations: culture, entrepreneurship, wellbeing, and the individual stories of the people she features. With more than two decades of marketing and production experience behind her, Bia has been able to shape the show into something with real editorial identity, not just a lifestyle side project.
Helping Other Brands Find Their Voice
As the show’s audience expanded, Bia noticed a pattern – businesses kept asking her for the same kind of storytelling she was doing for herself. That led to BIA’S Marketing, Production & PR, her agency offering strategy, branding, video production and PR to companies looking to communicate with more authenticity.
Her service list spans television-style presenting, documentary production, event coverage, brand partnerships, social media strategy and photography – essentially a full content studio built around one guiding idea, which she sums up simply:
“Food brings us together. Stories connect us.”
A New Series Tackles a Topic Often Left Unspoken
Bia’s latest project, Hot Flushes & Hot Foods, takes her storytelling instincts into more personal territory, opening up honest discussion around menopause, nutrition and wellbeing. It’s a shift in subject, but not in mission – the goal, as with everything she makes, is to leave people feeling informed and less alone.
The Recognition – and the Reason Behind It
Bia’s body of work now includes a published book, BIA’S Kitchen Show: A Culinary Journey of Gratitude, along with wins for Outstanding Entrepreneur, an Achievement Award, and Best Marketing Company at the Cotswolds Awards. She’s also a national finalist for Content Creator of the Year 2026.
But ask her what matters most, and it isn’t the trophies.
“Success isn’t measured simply by numbers or awards, but by the impact each story has on the people who watch it,” she says.
Building Toward Something Bigger
Bia’s plans for the future are ambitious but grounded: growing her personal brand into a recognised media presence, expanding BIA’S Kitchen Show with new original series, and continuing to help organisations tell their own stories through her agency. Eventually, she sees herself moving into broadcast-quality productions and documentary work – content designed to do more than fill a feed.
As she puts it:
“Content should never exist simply to be seen. It should exist to make someone feel something, learn something or do something.”
For someone who’s already rebuilt a career once, betting on a bigger vision the second time around doesn’t seem like a stretch – it seems like the plan all along.
