Phulkari Patola takes diners on a culinary journey inspired by Amritsar’s rich food culture, translating its iconic flavours and traditions into an immersive dining experience. The menu features favourites such as Amritsari Chole, Aloo Kulcha and Murgh Puran Singh, alongside Lawrence Road-inspired mutton, Sarson Da Saag and traditional breads. Phirni and Halwa offer a nostalgic finish, while Rose Lassi, Shikanji and the Patiala Sour extend the experience to the glass.

The experience extends into Ishaara’s dining environment, where visual details complement the culinary narrative. A signature centrepiece featuring a traditional matka, colourful pinwheels and an ‘Amritsar Road, 0 KM’ sign sets the tone, while Punjabi-style tassels, latkans, flags and bunting bring vibrancy to the space.
The storytelling continues through the team and menu, with colourful Bhangra-inspired pagdis for male staff and Phulkari-inspired borders, floral detailing, Punjabi illustrations and a travelling truck motif. The elements are brought together while retaining Ishaara’s refined dining aesthetic.

Safarnama is Ishaara’s culinary journey across India, with each chapter exploring a different region through its dishes, ingredients, culinary traditions and cultural stories.
